Royle Safaris

We are specialists in tailoring wildlife watching and especially big cat safaris holidays all over the world. But we do not just stop there, we have tours for all kinds of wildlife all over the world. So whether it is tigers, red pandas, orcas or snow leopards - we have the tour for you.

One area that we do excel are big cat safaris all over the world, our unrivalled range of tiger safaris explored over 5 different countries and we are also able to arrange tiger safaris to any country within the tigers current range. Our range of tiger safaris includes all the reserves in India to the less visited mangroves of Bangladesh and the Taiga forests of Siberia. From classic tiger safaris of India’s popular national parks which offer the best chances of seeing wild tigers to the pioneering tours which explore the far eastern Russian parks, we have the largest range of tiger safaris around. But we do not just search out tigers in all of these wonderful and exotic places, we have had great success in spotting other rare and elusive animals in these areas. We aim to showcase the tiger’s ecosystem in full wherever you join us for a tiger safari. So however you like to explore the tiger’s habitat we have the tour for you, whether you want to drive around in your own jeep, walk through the forests and grasslands and snow fields tracking tigers, lumbering around on elephant back or the slightly smoother horseback; or even if spotlighting after dark from the deck of your own chartered boat in the Sunderbans mangrove forest.

We have expanded our tiger safari holidays from the commonly visited India and Nepal to include Bangladesh, Bhutan and even Russia. So now you can also follow in the footsteps of the BBC film crew from Land of the Lost Tiger and see if you can become of only a handful of people to see a tiger in Bhutan. But probably most exciting of all is our brand new range of tiger tours to the Russian far east where both Siberian tigers and Amur leopards are known from. Whilst the chances of seeing either of these 2 elusive big cats is low we think that being in their element and tracking their numerous paw marks through the snow is well worth it. This is just about the only tour in the world which offers you the chance to track down and possibly see wild Siberian tigers and Amur leopards (the 2 rarest cats in the world!).

We are able to offer these wonderful and pioneering tours because our background is from a scientific and zoological standpoint and so have a great network of colleagues and contacts all over the world who are the people on the front line in search of the best new locations for tiger watching in the wild. All of these reasons and many more make us experts in arranging and guiding tiger safaris and are able to tailor a tiger safari to any location to try to find them. All you have to do is to get in touch with your budget and your group size and where you would like to go to try and find wild tigers.

So whatever your interest or whatever the species that you desire to see in the wild we have the wildlife watching holiday for you. We are constantly updating our range of wildlife holidays and add around 30 brand new and unique safari holidays each year.

Responsible Travel

We aim to increase and encourage small-scale sustainable eco-tourism in some of the best wildlife destinations in the world. We are constantly bending the rules of conventional wildlife watching holidays by taking new technology and visiting rarely visited areas all our guests feel more like explorers than mere tourists. We visit new and exciting destinations and aim to surprise and entertain even the most seasoned wildlife watcher. Taking the environmental and social effects of our tours into account we aim to build a legacy in developing countries which enables eco-tourism to flourish. Our belief in eco-tourism is that by showing people the few areas of true wilderness left we can be sure of people treasuring and preserving this wilderness into the future. It is only by making sure that the tours we run involve local people that they will begin to appreciate the wildlife and regard it as a source of pride. This change in attitude is essential for any conservation effort to succeed.
