An Agricultural Engineer and management professional with specialisation in Resource Management, Mr. Soni has been an active member of TOFTigers’ PUG audit team right from its inception in India. For the past 30 years, he has been associated with both public and private institutions working to achieve positive outcomes in the fields of tourism; livelihood; tribal community development; forest management; watershed management; and sustainable development; including in areas related to integrated rural development, application of non-conventional renewable energy sources, identification and promotion of Indian handicraft, and development of the food-processing industry. He is also Honorary Advisor to Consumer Education & Research Center. Soni has carried out more than 45 PUG eco-rating and eco-footprint audits across India and is a GSTC internationally-qualified auditor.
