The 7th TOFTigers Wildlife Tourism Awards 2024 Special: ‘Celebrating Harmony: Fostering Sustainable Wildlife Tourism through Innovation and Collaboration’
The TOFT Awards are here again, highlighting the trailblazers of wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism in India and Nepal. Under the theme ‘Celebrating Harmony: Fostering Sustainable Wildlife Tourism through Innovation and Collaboration,’ and commemorating 20 years, this year’s awards will honor those who are passionate to drive a change towards responsible tourism practices through community engagement and environmental stewardship.
Since its inception in 2004, the TOFTigers Awards have become a recognised platform, bringing forth and highlighting various stakeholders in wildlife conservation such as park management, guides, travel companies, accommodations, and community-driven initiatives. These awards celebrate the tireless efforts of individuals and organizations that work to protect wildlife, creating sustainable livelihoods through tourism, and uplift and support local communities.
In collaboration with Sanctuary Nature Foundation and Outlook Traveller, the 2024 Awards aim is to not only recognize and reward best practices but also increase public awareness about the essential role that responsible tourism plays in wildlife conservation and habitat restoration.
