Madhya Pradesh Joins Hands with TOFTigers’ as a state partner!
TOFTigers is delighted to welcome Madhya Pradesh as the official State Partner for the 7th TOFTigers Wildlife Tourism Awards 2024.
Renowned as India’s “Tiger State”, Madhya Pradesh is home to 785 tigers, the highest tiger population in the country. Of these, 563 thrive within its reserves, while 222 inhabit its national parks. The state also boasts rich biodiversity, earning titles like the Gharial State, Leopard State, and Cheetah State, alongside hosting India’s largest vulture population.
Under the stewardship of Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has made significant strides in promoting responsible tourism. By integrating conservation with community empowerment, the board ensures travelers experience the wonders of nature sustainably, from indulging in authentic local cuisine to supporting eco-friendly initiatives.
This partnership underscores Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to aligning tourism with environmental preservation and community well-being. As we prepare for the awards, this collaboration sets a benchmark for responsible travel practices.
We look forward to celebrating this shared mission at the 7th TOFTigers Wildlife Tourism Awards 2024. Let’s continue working towards a greener, cleaner, and safer planet for future generations.
