TOFTigers Partners with Adavi Alert Foundation to Strengthen Wildlife Conservation Efforts

In order to widen our impact, TOFT has collaborated with Adavi Alert Foundation (AAF), a  Not-for-Profit Organization committed to wildlife conservation and environmental protection. AAF was founded in the 1999 by Mr. Pavan Joshi, a visionary with a unique take on the present day conservation scenario. AAF tirelessly dedicates itself to wildlife conservation, empowerment of  forest frontline workers, human wildlife conflict and community engagement.

The purpose of this understanding between TOFTigers and AAF is to establish cooperation between the participants to promote projects that align with both organizations’ interests. By pooling resources, expertise, and networks, the partnership seeks to maximize impact and foster enduring change in the realm of wildlife conservation

TOFT is supporting Adavi’s current project, launch of  “Snakes of Mysore” scheduled for release in May 2024. This book is a comprehensive initiative aimed at raising awareness about snakes and fostering a deeper appreciation for these often-misunderstood creatures. Through a community-centric approach, this project transcends geographical boundaries to educate and empower individuals on snake profiles, precautionary measures, and the dos and don’ts in snake encounters.

The book, crafted with meticulous attention to detail, features extensive information on the types of snakes found in India, coupled with contemporary artwork to engage a wider audience. The book brings together the expertise of conservationists and herpetologists, the content strikes a balance between scientific accuracy and accessibility, making it suitable for people of all ages and regions.
