Even before responsible tourism became a matter of public interest, Total Holiday Options had adopted a strategy to take responsibility to protect and conserve the environment, respect and conserve local cultures and ways of life, and contribute strongly to local economies. For this, we have laid out a series of measures; including involving our guests in sapling planting activities and using nature-friendly eco-lodges and hotels that avail of locally-sourced organic produce. Clients’ tours usually include a social visit to village schools and charitable organisations. Besides, we organise trips to villages and facilitate the exchange of ideas and concerns between travellers and local communities, including different tribes.
