The lodge offers ample opportunities for big cat safaris and bird watching. Jaagir Lodge, Dudhwa plans tailor made journeys in the region suited to your special interests, be it photography or wildlife spotting. They facilitate special interactions with the Tharu tribe - who call themselves the ‘people of the forests’ - for an insightful experience to learn their ancient traditions, arts and folklore. You can also hop on a bicycle and tour t...hrough sugarcane farms and nearby villages. Jaagir’s resident naturalist will be there with you at every step to ensure you don’t miss anything.

It would be fair to say that a well-known conservationist, ‘Billy’ Arjan Singh, put Dudhwa on the map for wildlife tourists in India. Uttar Pradesh’s last viable tiger habitat, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve comprises the three protected areas of Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary, Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary and Dudhwa National Park.
