Travelife conducted an intensive two-day training session in June for Travelife coaches in South Asia.The training session was facilitated by Mr.Robin Boustead, ESG Expert & Project Manager of Carmacal. This session aimed to provide participants with crucial knowledge and practical skills essential for sustainability in tourism.

The training encompassed a comprehensive range of topics, including ESG reporting landscapes, sustainable practices in transport and accommodation, strategic planning for GHG emission transitions, and customer engagement programs. These topics are critical for managing the climate crisis.

Participants delved into the integration of sustainability management through the Travelife system, enhancing their ability to support their coaching companies in meeting international standards. In addition, the training included activity mapping, guide skills enhancement, and valuable discussions on sustainable transport, accommodation, and destination management. These discussions equipped participants with the tools and knowledge necessary to drive sustainable tourism practices with the tour operators.
