'From 0 To 40 Tigers': IFS Parveen Kaswan Celebrates Sariska Reserve’s Conservation Triumph
The population of tigers has dwindled dramatically due to several reasons. During this time, Sariska Tiger Reserve served as a blueprint for other tiger reserves, showing that with dedicated conservation efforts, it is possible to bring tigers back from the brink. The addition of several stripes to its sleeve demonstrates that rigorous protection protocols, anti-poaching measures, and habitat restoration can make a real difference.
Sharing this heartwarming news from the Sariska Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan, IFS officer Parveen Kaswan recently posted a photo in the backdrop of a forest, capturing a delightful moment of tigress ST22 with her four cubs.
“That proud mother and picture which makes every conservationist happy. ST22 of Sariska has given birth to four cubs. Sariska is a wonderful story of conservation success: from 0 tigers to 40 tigers in sixteen years. Wonderful work done by ground staff and officers,” wrote IFS officer Parveen Kaswan.
