At TOFT we believe collaboration is a key contributor to achieving true sustainable development. Keeping in line with this school of thought, TOFT in collaboration with the Central Nodal Agency of Sustainable tourism will be   helping spread awareness about Mission life especially in the realm of wildlife tourism.

Mission Life,  an India-led global mass movement urging individuals and communities to act for the protection of the environment against the effects of climate change. Travel for Life has been formulated by the Ministry of Tourism as a sectoral program for the tourism sector under Mission LiFE that aims to promote sustainable tourism in the country in convergence with the pillars of the National Strategy for Sustainable Tourism.The program through Travel for Life Actions aims to mobilize tourists and tourism businesses of the country to be mindful and deliberate in their actions as important stakeholders of the tourism value chain.

The program has identified an illustrative list of “92 Travel for LiFE Actions” that has been mapped under the themes of Mission LiFE and National Strategy for Sustainable Tourism. These actions can be adopted by both the tourists and tourism businesses of the nation. Dedicated interventions have been planned in the form of activities broadly under two categories, namely Information, Education and Communication (IEC) and Capacity Building to facilitate mass acceptance and adoption of Travel for LiFE actions.
