- There are six 900 sq. ft cottages on either side of the lake, nestled in the natural topography of the land. The cottages have a strong influence of village life. For example, the rooms come with a large wind chime installation made of brass vessels like lotas (pots), belans (rolling pins) and mathinis (butter churners), a jalaebi patal (wok) as a key holder, and a shoe cleaner crafted from mini brooms. All the rooms also open to a private splash pool that overlooks the lake and offers panoramic views of the landscape, creating a visual delight. The grey slate walls used in the bathrooms are polished with lacquer, used by local carpenters, to shine the furniture, while bathroom sinks and private plunge pools are carved out of rough granite, scoured from local mining sites.
- The cuisine served at Brij Lakshman Sagar is the traditional fare inspired by inherited recipes of the Raipur Family, and local village families. They also offer cooking classes wherein guests get to work with fresh ingredients from the in-house organic farm.
